Good food at a reasonable price (given its in the middle of a national park.) A pie with a generous serve of chips will set you back about $15 (May 2023) - and a couple of pies include bunya nuts as one of the ingredients. There is lots of seating, but I expect it fills quickly during busy times, so bring a picnic blanket as a backup. There are a couple of bird feeding stations and wallabies wander the surrounding grass lawns.

Sensational homemade Beef & Bunya Nut Pie! This is a winner! A perfect short crust pastry, golden and flakey, then bite inside to the hot creamy chunky filling. Yumm! The hard working staff were absolutely run off their feet 2 days in a row yet always so friendly and smiling. Thank you for great catering in a remote location.

Fabulous time eating scones outside on the sun-speckled tables with gorgeous birds flying overhead and kangaroos sunbathing on the freshly mowed lush green grass. Staff were very young but absolutely delightful. After we got back to our vehicle I noticed my battery was flat and one of the young gentlemen (staff) went to his car and gave me a mobile battery/power pack so I could start my car Never had service this good anywhere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
